Pastor's Sabbath
Fridays are Pastor Barb's sabbath
Pastor Attend Synod Council
Pastor will be attending Synod Council in Houston on Friday, November 19 and Saturday, November 20
Confirmation Class
Confirmation class is on Sundays from 5:30-7:30pm at Hosanna Lutheran in Mandeville. Pastor Barb and Pastor Sonny from Hosanna are combining their confirmation classes this year. Each week the young scholars will gather at the church at 5pm and drive to Mandeville.
Men's Breakfast
The Men's Breakfast is held at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Slidell on the third Friday of each month @ 9am.
The next men's breakfast is Friday, November 19th.

St. Tammany Computer Club
The St. Tammany Computer Association, STCA,
are holding their meetings and computer classes here at Peace.

Peace and Pastor 6th Anniversary
Peace and Pastor will celebrate her 6th anniversary as their pastor. There will be a dinner after worship to celebrate this event. The church will provide roast beef. Please bring side dishes. Sign up sheet will be passed around at the beginning of each service.
Brown Bag Bible Study
The Brown Bag Bible Study is currently studying the book of Romans. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Barb @ 373-7214.
The group meets Thursdays from 11am to 1pm.
Women's Bible Study
The Women’s Bible Study is on the third Monday of the month. The next Bible Study is Monday, November 15, 7pm. All females are welcome to attend this study. If you have any questions, please contact Cindy Westfall, 847-1972.
Quilting Group
New quilters welcome! The Quilting Ministry Group are "Quilting" on the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 12:30-2:00pm following bible study.

Quilts are distributed to the needy in the community, our mission center, and internationally.
Fellowship Coffee & Donut Holes
The fellowship coffee time sign up sheet for snacks is posted on the narthex bulletin board. Your help is greatly appreciated to keep snacks between 9:30 and 11:00am services. Everything needs to be set up before and then cleaned and put away which includes coffee pots, trays, and left over food. If each family would take one Sunday a year, it would be superb. Thank you for your help to continue with treats. If you have any questions, please contact Diane ONeil at 774-4191.
Wednesday Volunteers Community Meal
The next community meal is Wednesday, November 10 at 6pm. Please come, enjoy good food and fellowship with the volunteers. At this time we will need volunteers each week to be responsible for bringing desserts. Please call Judy Moyle at (985) 863-7082 and volunteer to bring dessert.
Ministry Opportunities
There are many ministry opportunities for you; we need people to volunteer to assist ministers, acolytes, lectors, altar care, ushers, and greeters. If you would like help in any of these ministeries for a week, twice a month, or a full month, please contact Jeannette at the church office, (985) 641-6400 or Karen Serpas, worship chairperson (985) 710-2809.
Church and Youth Retreat
The church and youth retreat is planned for Friday, November 5 to Sunday, November 7 at Little Black Creek Water Park between Purvis and Lumberton, Mississippi. There are cabins and camping sites, Some of the activities which are available fishing, swimming, picnicking, hiking, and boating. More information about this retreat will be forthcoming.
Council Meeting
The next council meeting is Tuesday, November 9 from 7-9pm. All council members are encouraged to attend this meeting. Please have copies of written committee reports ready for the meeting.
Worship Ministry Meeting
